Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday | 3540 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 2025 May 2026 (20252026 School Year)
Caseload: TBD based on student assignment
Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified Language Therapist for a full-time, school-based role in Plano, TX. This position is ideal for a compassionate educator dedicated to supporting the academic, communication, and functional needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support in academic and non-academic areas, tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional goals and methods in accordance with district and IEP requirements

Regularly communicate with parents, guardians, and team members to exchange updates and support strategies
-
Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement using formal and informal tools
-
Prepare for and actively participate in IEP, 504, and other relevant meetings related to student programming and services
Requirements:
-
Valid Texas certification or credential as a Language Therapist (SLP or equivalent)

Experience working in school settings preferred
-
Strong understanding of language development, speech therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain consistent, accurate documentation
